HyperEVM is the fully EVM-compatible execution layer of the Hyperliquid network. It produces blocks roughly every 1 second, uses{" "} HYPE as its native gas token, and runs on chain ID{" "} 999 - so standard Ethereum tooling (ethers, viem, web3.py, Foundry) works without changes.
